Moola Prakruthi - Brahmam - Para-Brahmam
MULA PRAKRUTHI - BRAHMAM / PARA-BRAHMAM
On 14-11-1912 Master recorded in the Diary as below in tamil.
Muulaprakritiai patriyum, brahmavai patriyum inda prasannangal muluvadum tiirmaanikka pattadu.
Questions related to MuulaPrakriti and Brahman are completely clarified.
As we do not have details of such expalation, we can look in traditional literature the unclear parts for now. As we know, from traditional schools of thought, that Purusha means Universal Principle and Prakriti means matter or force. We can observe two kinds of Prakriti mentioned in traditional literature.
- Muula Prakriti or Undifferentiated cosmic matter. This called as ‘Pradhaana’ in Sankhya school of philosophy. This is concerning the entrie creation.
- Prakriti or differentiated matter. This is individual specific. This is influenced by illusion (Maya) and ignorance (Avidya).
Purusha can act through Prakriti only. Electriciy and bulb can be considered as an example. Muula Prakriti is eternal. But Prakriti is not. Taittariya and Swetasvatara Upanishads mention these aspects. Different schools of thought interpret the contents differently, though agreeing in general aspects.
Master mentioned on 15.9.1921 in Memory, Memorandum notes as below.
“According to K Key and then 100 squares, work is to take one Purusha, Prakriti in one square. This square will reveal only of the present working evolution and not all.”
Based on the above we can understand Prakrithi in three varieties.
- Muula prakriti (Undifferentiated cosmic matter)
- Prakriti in Evolution square. This is the one belonging to one square relevant for one evolution cycle
- Individual specific Prakriti.
Since Master C.V.V had the knowledge of the complete evolution from the very origin in conscious state, mention of this information of 100 squares and the Prakriti in one square was done by Him only. That is the reason why He only is called ‘Master’. That is the height required to be called a Master.
We also understand from Master’s literature that the construction of human form in the womb is carried out by Kundalini, Memory and Stability which is waiting outside. Naturally we get the doubt wherein Purusha reside, in Kundalini or in Memory. Since it is the Memory which first transits into zodiac for birth process and Kundalini features are added in the planetary, we can understand Purusha resides in the Memory.
Many people are calling Master as Brahman, Para Brahman etc. This is grossly incorrect. In Master’s Diaries or Notes, we never come across this statement of HIM being Brahman or Para Brahman. This interpretation is from the Vedic philosophical connotations. In this is line, only one hierarchy is mentioned – Master CVV, M.T.A and One Point. Nothing else.
Master hinted what Brahmam means in Memory, Memorandum notes on 17.10.1920 as below.
“In consolation level there are many spirits. In the Earth, the conception of Brahmam is a higher level to this in one sense.”
“Even to this level a higher grade has been worked in the deep level as a Consolation Spirit wantingless state, independent.”
As per Notes and Diaries, we can see that Master had knowledge and worked at even higher levels to Brahmam level.
About addressing Master C.V.V as Para Brahmam. There is no description of this word in Master’s literature. It is not necessary to think that we are seeing Master at the highest level by addressing him as Para Brahamam.
In tradition philosophical meaning Para Brahman is considered as First Cause, that which remains inactive during cosmic pralaya (destruction), that which is active during evolution, that it cannot be understood by the intellect, that it cannot be matter, that it cannot be consciousness since we understand that consciousness must be with reference to a definite organism, that it cannot be such a consciousness without Upadhi since such an existence cannot be conceived. In short, Para Brahmam is thought to be the cause for the categorizations of gnata, gnana and gnayam into which entire creation fits in. This is a word used to describe undefinable state in philosophical terms. A lot of discussion on this can be trace in Advaita and Sankhya schools of thought. Using that word is only to give grandeur status to Master in our minds. By using traditional jargon, over a period, practitioners may lose focus on the aspect of true line of knowledge of this line.
By reading Master’s literature, practitioners can understand that traditional practices and usage of such jargon is not relevant in this line.
We need to address Master in the same way that was written by Him and not attribute figurative names like Brahmam to Him.
